Responsibilities
- Source and screen qualified candidates for weekend and weekday job openings across Virginia Beach
- Conduct in-depth interviews and skills assessments to match candidates with client requirements
- Manage applicant tracking system (ATS) data and maintain accurate candidate records
- Coordinate interview logistics between candidates and hiring managers, including scheduling and follow-ups
- Build and nurture relationships with local businesses to understand their staffing needs
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates for hard-to-fill positions
- Present qualified candidates to clients with detailed recommendations and market insights
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recruitment or staffing agency experience
- Proven ability to source candidates through multiple channels (job boards, social media, referrals)
- Strong interview skills with ability to assess technical competencies and cultural fit
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client/candidate interactions
- Proficiency with ATS platforms (e.g., Bullhorn, Greenhouse) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client meetings
- Knowledge of Virginia Beach's local job market and industry sectors preferred
