Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and interview qualified candidates for open positions within the staffing agency.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including scheduling interviews, conducting background checks, and extending offers.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of active and passive job seekers.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
- Update candidate data and job postings in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service to both clients and candidates.
- Conduct market research to identify trends in the Virginia Beach job market.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in staffing, recruiting, or human resources.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.
- Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a consistent basis.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in HR or related field is a plus.
