Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks using pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements.
- Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counts and maintaining accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure safety compliance.
- Machinery Operation: Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) after receiving proper training.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and ensure proper labeling.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: A history of consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Basic Math: Ability to read and understand basic shipping labels and perform simple math calculations.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
