Responsibilities
- Load and Unload:** Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks and shipping containers, ensuring all items are handled with care.
- Inventory Management:** accurately scan and track incoming and outgoing inventory using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Stock Organization:** Maintain a neat, organized, and safe warehouse layout by sorting, shelving, and storing products according to established protocols.
- Quality Control:** Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Order Fulfillment:** Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and meeting daily productivity targets.
- Equipment Operation:** Safely operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Safety Compliance:** Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
Qualifications
- Availability:** Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Physical Stamina:** Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Experience:** Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Attention to Detail:** Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and completing paperwork.
- Communication Skills:** Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly and communicate effectively with team members.
- Reliability:** A proven track record of punctuality and dependability is essential.
- Education:** High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
