Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks and safely transport it to the designated storage areas.
- Prepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring all items are securely wrapped and labeled correctly.
- Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided on-site).
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse floor to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Assist with inventory control by accurately checking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to prevent accidents and ensure quality service.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly. (Physical stamina is essential)
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Basic math skills for counting stock and verifying packages.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Columbus location.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory for this entry-level position.
