Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to internal staff via phone, email, and in-person, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop environments, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.).
- Manage the IT inventory, including tracking equipment, logging assets, and assisting with hardware procurement.
- Respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner, prioritizing critical issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement security patches and software updates across the organization.
- Conduct basic training sessions for employees on new software tools and company policies.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and support interactions in the ticketing system.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support roles.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and common troubleshooting methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed for system maintenance.
