As a Temp QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring our client's software products meet the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with senior developers and product managers to identify bugs, improve user experiences, and deliver flawless software releases.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test scripts to verify software functionality and performance.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA and other tracking tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers) to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Perform regression testing on new builds and updates to ensure no new bugs were introduced.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues.
- Maintain detailed test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Communicate status updates and risks to the project manager on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with SQL and RESTful APIs for data validation.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Cypress is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote-capable environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
