Responsibilities
- Sourcing and engaging technical talent across software development, IT infrastructure, and engineering roles
- Managing full-cycle recruitment including screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships with Houston-based tech companies
- Utilizing ATS platforms (Greenhouse, Lever) to track candidates and pipeline metrics
- Developing innovative sourcing strategies to identify passive candidates in competitive markets
- Conducting market research to identify emerging tech trends and salary benchmarks
- Collaborating with internal teams to optimize recruitment processes and candidate experience
Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical recruiting experience in a staffing agency or corporate environment
- Proven track record of closing 15+ placements per quarter in technical roles
- Expertise in sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill IT and engineering positions
- Strong knowledge of Houston's tech market and key employers
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and recruitment marketing tools
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with candidates and clients
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- Certified Staffing Professional (CSP) designation preferred
