Responsibilities
- Source and screen qualified candidates for temporary/contract positions using job boards, LinkedIn, and local networks
- Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers at client companies across New Orleans
- Conduct candidate interviews and assessments to ensure job-role alignment
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process from job requisition to placement
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation for placed candidates
- Track recruitment metrics and optimize sourcing strategies
- Weekly payroll processing for temporary staff
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of staffing or recruitment experience (agency or corporate)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (e.g., Bullhorn, Workday)
- Knowledge of New Orleans job market and local industries
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
- Valid Louisiana driver's license (client site visits required)
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
