Responsibilities
- Screen, interview, and place qualified candidates in temporary positions within 24-48 hours
- Manage client relationships and staffing requirements for Long Beach-based businesses
- Process payroll and onboarding documentation for temporary staff
- Source candidates through job boards, referrals, and proactive outreach
- Maintain accurate candidate databases and compliance documentation
- Coordinate interviews between clients and candidates via phone/video platforms
- Track key metrics and report on staffing performance weekly
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recruitment/staffing agency experience required
- Proven ability to fill urgent positions in Long Beach market
- Strong knowledge of California labor regulations and compliance
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and MS Office
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends for urgent placements
