Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle recruitment for high-demand tech roles including software engineers, data scientists, and DevOps specialists
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with 50+ Chicago-based tech clients
- Source passive candidates through advanced Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and industry-specific platforms
- Conduct technical and behavioral interviews to assess candidate competencies
- Develop innovative talent pipelines for hard-to-fill positions using market intelligence
- Maintain accurate CRM data and recruitment analytics for continuous improvement
- Mentor junior recruiters on Chicago's tech talent landscape
Qualifications
- 5+ years technical recruitment experience with a focus on Chicago's tech market
- Proven success placing candidates in engineering, data science, or cloud infrastructure roles
- Expertise in ATS platforms (Greenhouse, Lever) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut)
- Strong understanding of technical stacks (Python, Java, AWS, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts clearly
- Track record of exceeding KPIs including time-to-fill and candidate quality metrics
- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience)
