Responsibilities
- Tier 2 Technical Support: Resolve complex hardware and software issues for employees using remote tools and on-site visits.
- Network Administration: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and maintain secure access protocols.
- Hardware & Asset Management: Manage the lifecycle of laptops, printers, and peripherals, including deployment and end-of-life recycling.
- User Training: Conduct workshops to educate staff on best practices for cybersecurity and software utilization.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine patching, backups, and system updates to ensure business continuity.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with third-party vendors for server repairs and hardware procurement.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional IT support experience.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and Windows 10/11 environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Availability: Must be willing to work onsite in Long Beach, CA, and available for occasional overtime during peak seasons.
