Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends to identify disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop and implement innovation roadmaps aligning with long-term organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling breakthrough solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 companies
- Present future scenarios and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive adoption of foresight methodologies across product development and R&D divisions
- Oversee portfolio management of emerging technology initiatives with $50M+ annual budget
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI ethics)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Experience managing innovation portfolios with $50M+ budgets
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
