Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy, identifying disruptive trends across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable energy
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-generation solutions with $50M+ R&D budget
- Forge strategic partnerships with global research institutions and Fortune 500 companies for collaborative innovation
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and board members, securing approval for $10M+ initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote speeches at premier tech conferences (CES, Web Summit)
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory landscapes to ensure compliance and identify emerging opportunities
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate a culture of experimental innovation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PhD/Master's) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years in strategic technology planning
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies with measurable market impact
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum algorithms, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems and forecast technology adoption curves
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and managing P&L for innovation projects
- Strong network within Silicon Valley, academic research institutions, and government innovation bodies
- Published author or patent holder in relevant technological domains
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Spanish preferred for global collaboration
