Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and maintainable full-stack applications using React, Node.js, and cloud technologies.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code; conduct thorough code reviews to ensure best practices and maintainability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, design, and backend) to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Optimization: Analyze and optimize application performance, ensuring fast load times and seamless user interactions across devices.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance within the engineering team.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Frontend: Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind, Styled-components).
- Backend: Expert knowledge of Node.js, RESTful APIs, and database management (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Tools: Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Location: Must reside in Austin, TX (in-person/on-site availability required).
