We are looking for a self-motivated individual to ensure our mission-critical systems remain robust, secure, and efficient during the night cycle. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining our 99.99% uptime SLA.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the stability of servers, databases, and network infrastructure during the night shift.
- Execute automated deployment scripts and perform routine maintenance tasks with high precision.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical incidents that arise outside of standard business hours.
- Collaborate with the Day Shift Engineering team to implement patches and configuration changes.
- Analyze system logs to identify trends, anomalies, and potential security vulnerabilities.
- Document all maintenance activities, incidents, and resolutions in our technical knowledge base.
- Ensure strict adherence to company security protocols and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software engineering, system administration, or IT support.
- Must be available and willing to work 100% night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Deep understanding of Linux/Unix environments and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience working under contract or freelance models is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical certification.
