Role Overview:
You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of web applications, from conceptualization and design to coding, testing, and deployment. We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can deliver high-quality code with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks in existing codebases.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a contract or freelance capacity.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Experience with server-side technologies (Node.js, Python, or Java).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or hybrid setting.
