Responsibilities
- Architect & Scale: Design and implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines and infrastructure capable of handling billions of requests.
- Model Optimization: Drive research and engineering efforts to optimize model inference speed, reduce latency, and minimize resource costs.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of data scientists and engineers, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Production Deployment: Oversee the deployment of LLMs and NLP models to cloud environments (AWS/GCP) ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate complex business needs into technical architectures.
- Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve in emerging AI trends (e.g., Multimodal AI, Agentic workflows) and integrate them into our stack.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering and machine learning.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX; experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Cloud Mastery: Strong background in distributed systems and cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems at scale with a focus on efficiency and security.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
