What You Will Do
We are looking for a hands-on leader who can translate theoretical research into scalable production solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define architectural standards and mentor the next generation of engineers.
Responsibilities
- Architect & Deploy: Design and implement scalable AI/ML systems, including large language models and predictive algorithms, ensuring high availability and low latency.
- Technical Leadership: Define the technical roadmap for the AI infrastructure, making critical architectural decisions that drive product velocity and innovation.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the team.
- Optimization: Continuously monitor model performance, optimize training pipelines, and reduce inference costs using cutting-edge techniques.
- Research & Development: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI (e.g., Transformer models, Reinforcement Learning) and evaluate their applicability to our products.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to align technical capabilities with business goals and user needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years specifically focused on AI/ML architecture and deployment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and C++. Deep understanding of distributed computing systems (Kubernetes, AWS/GCP).
- Modeling: Proven track record of designing, training, and fine-tuning complex neural networks for NLP or Computer Vision tasks.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug complex systems and optimize performance bottlenecks under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
