Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and machine learning specialists
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent quantum computing innovations
- Advise C-suite executives on quantum adoption strategies for Fortune 500 clients
- Represent Nexus Labs at international quantum computing conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum hardware architectures including superconducting qubits
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Proven ability to secure federal research grants (NSF, DARPA, etc.)
- Clearance for government quantum computing initiatives preferred
