Job Description
We are pioneering the AI-native workforce of 2026, building autonomous systems that redefine productivity. Nexus Horizon is seeking a visionary Senior AI Agentic Engineer to architect and deploy intelligent agents capable of complex reasoning, tool use, and self-correction.
In this role, you won't just write code; you will shape the future of autonomous decision-making. You will work at the intersection of Large Language Models (LLMs) and practical engineering, ensuring our agents are safe, scalable, and profoundly capable.
Responsibilities
- Architect Next-Gen Agents: Design and implement autonomous AI agents capable of complex multi-step reasoning and dynamic tool integration.
- Optimize Reasoning Loops: Improve inference speed and reduce hallucination rates through advanced prompting strategies and fine-tuning.
- Tool Integration: Build robust APIs and middleware that allow AI agents to securely interact with external systems (CRMs, databases, cloud services).
- Safety & Alignment: Implement guardrails and safety protocols to ensure AI behavior remains ethical and aligned with company values.
- Research & Prototype: Stay ahead of the curve on emerging AI paradigms, evaluating new models and architectures for our roadmap.
Qualifications
- Technical Mastery: 5+ years of experience in software engineering with strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- AI Expertise: Deep understanding of Large Language Models (GPT-4, Claude), RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and Vector Databases.
- System Design: Experience designing scalable microservices and high-throughput APIs.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle ambiguous problems and derive novel solutions using AI/ML techniques.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills to translate complex technical concepts to cross-functional teams.
