We are looking for a visionary Senior 2D Motion Designer to join our elite creative team at Apex Digital Solutions. Responsibilities
- Design and produce high-fidelity 2D motion graphics and animations for web and mobile platforms.
- Utilize industry-standard software (After Effects, Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate) to create fluid character animations and iconography.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize visual metaphors and storytelling techniques.
- Optimize animations for performance, ensuring seamless playback across various devices and browsers.
- Maintain a consistent visual style guide and contribute to the evolution of our design system.
- Provide constructive feedback and mentor junior designers to foster a collaborative creative environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in 2D motion design or animation.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in character animation, typography, and kinetic design.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud suite, specifically After Effects and Photoshop.
- Proficiency in vector animation tools (Toon Boom Harmony or Adobe Animate).
- Deep understanding of timing, spacing, and the 12 principles of animation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions to non-design stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced agile environment.
