Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms with practical applications for 2026 industry challenges
- Lead research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at global tech conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive open-source quantum computing initiatives
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into physical quantum systems
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through compelling proposals for quantum computing advancement
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years post-doctoral research
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, quantum machine learning, and quantum cryptography
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent journals on quantum computing
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Demonstrated experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum information theory, and complexity analysis
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to translate research into commercial applications
