Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures targeting 10,000+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise optimization challenges
- Lead quantum security protocols for next-gen blockchain networks
- Create simulation frameworks for quantum material discovery applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software-hardware interfaces
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and government agencies
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging paradigms like topological qubits
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS + 5yrs experience considered)
- 3+ years designing quantum algorithms with error correction implementations
- Expertise in Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq with proven quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing applications
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor integration
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy thresholds and NISQ limitations
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum system calibration
