Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype quantum computing solutions
- Conduct advanced research in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Publish findings in leading scientific journals and present at industry conferences
- Lead quantum software development initiatives using Q# and Python frameworks
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation in quantum hardware-software integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit) and simulation tools
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and linear algebra principles
- Experience with superconducting quantum processors or ion trap systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced research environments
