Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic technologies (AR/VR, quantum algorithms, neuro-interfaces)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Manage R&D budget allocation and resource optimization
- Mentor junior innovators and foster a culture of bold experimentation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology R&D with 5+ years in strategic innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products or services
- Expertise in emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, spatial computing)
- Strong background in prototyping with tools like Unity, TensorFlow, or Qiskit
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Experience securing $1M+ in R&D funding or grants
- Published research or patents in future technologies
