Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products.
- Monitor production metrics, including output, scrap rates, and downtime, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards to maintain a secure working environment.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with maintenance and logistics teams to resolve equipment issues and supply chain disruptions.
- Prepare daily shift reports and maintain accurate production records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or lead role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to give clear, actionable instructions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as required by production schedules.
- Forklift certification and willingness to operate heavy machinery.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or technical certification preferred.
