Responsibilities
- Sourcing Candidates: Utilize various channels (LinkedIn, Indeed, networking) to identify and attract qualified talent for open positions.
- Screening & Interviewing: Conduct initial phone screens and in-person interviews to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular contact with hiring managers to understand their needs and provide market insights.
- Job Posting Management: Create and optimize job descriptions to ensure high visibility on job boards and social media platforms.
- Onboarding Support: Assist new hires with the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition into their new roles.
- Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in recruitment, staffing, or human resources.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Local Knowledge: A strong understanding of the Austin, TX job market and local industries is highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with ATS software (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever) and social recruiting tools is a plus.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business preferred.
