Responsibilities
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment workflow, including job posting, candidate outreach, and interview scheduling.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates within the Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads market.
- Coordinate logistics for candidate placement, including onboarding paperwork and orientation schedules.
- Foster strong relationships with hiring managers to understand specific staffing needs and refine job descriptions.
- Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to track candidate progress and maintain accurate data records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, sales, or customer service is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, persuasive demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Workday) is highly desirable.
