Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight and manage shipping schedules to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts to verify stock levels.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and external clients to resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company operational procedures.
- Process shipping documents, bills of lading, and customs paperwork accurately.
- Identify and resolve logistical bottlenecks to improve supply chain efficiency.
- Train temporary staff on proper handling and documentation protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
