Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound freight operations to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with third-party carriers and vendors to schedule shipments.
- Maintain accurate shipping records, bills of lading, and inventory logs.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and address carrier performance issues.
- Assist in the organization of the warehouse layout and inventory management.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients regarding shipment status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook) and logistics software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods when necessary.
