In this role, you will assist in maintaining our client's IT systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring a seamless user experience. We value curiosity, dedication, and a proactive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi access points and switches.
- Maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions in the knowledge base.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to identify and resolve complex system anomalies.
- Conduct routine system health checks and backups to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic understanding of PC hardware and operating systems (Windows 10/11, macOS).
- Familiarity with networking concepts, IP addressing, and basic troubleshooting protocols.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Available to work a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in office) in San Jose, CA.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and obtain relevant certifications (CompTIA A+ preferred).
