Responsibilities
- Design user-centered interfaces for healthcare web/mobile applications using Figma
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Collaborate with developers to ensure design implementation
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback
- Document design systems and maintain component libraries
- Participate in agile sprints and design critiques
Qualifications
- 3+ years of UX/UI design experience with healthcare industry focus
- Portfolio demonstrating responsive web and mobile app designs
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
- Strong understanding of design systems and component libraries
- Experience with user research methodologies (interviews, surveys, testing)
- Ability to translate complex healthcare workflows into intuitive interfaces
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Available for 20-25 hours/week contract through December 2023
