Responsibilities
- Source and identify potential candidates through various channels, including social media, job boards, and networking events.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and clients to understand their staffing needs.
- Coordinate interview schedules and provide timely feedback to all parties involved in the hiring process.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into their new roles.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines effectively.
- Conduct market research to identify trends in the staffing industry.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or Human Resources is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with recruiting software or ATS platforms is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and succeed in a sales and service-oriented role.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the DC metropolitan area.
