Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning and execution of 2026 technology roadmap across AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Drive R&D initiatives for emerging technologies with $5M+ annual innovation budget
- Mentor and direct a 15-member cross-functional team of futurists and engineers
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Develop and implement governance frameworks for ethical tech deployment
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology leadership with 5+ years in future-tech strategy roles
- Proven track record scaling R&D initiatives from concept to commercialization
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong business acumen with experience in tech commercialization
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation
- Experience managing global teams and cross-cultural collaboration
