Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology innovation roadmap targeting 2026 market readiness
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D budget through compelling stakeholder presentations
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Monitor emerging tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify disruption opportunities
- Mentor innovation lab staff and foster a culture of calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record of launching market-disrupting products or platforms
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional strategic planning and resource allocation capabilities
- Experience securing $1M+ R&D budgets and managing P&L for innovation units
