Responsibilities
- Screen and qualify candidates for temporary and contract positions across San Diego
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses to understand staffing needs
- Coordinate daily job placements and ensure seamless onboarding processes
- Process same-day payroll for temporary employees through our proprietary system
- Conduct market research to identify emerging job trends and opportunities
- Develop recruitment strategies for high-demand industries like healthcare and warehousing
- Maintain accurate candidate databases and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of staffing or recruitment experience in San Diego market
- Strong knowledge of California labor laws and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to source candidates through multiple channels (job boards, networking, referrals)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and daily payroll processing
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits
- Certified Staffing Professional (CSP) or SHRM-CP preferred
