Responsibilities
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and patch management on Windows and Linux servers.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Monitor system performance and alert management to potential failures before they occur.
- Assist in the deployment of new hardware and network configurations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all technical tasks and incident reports.
- Collaborate with the weekday on-site team to ensure seamless handover of critical issues.
- Ensure data security protocols are strictly followed during all operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is highly preferred.
- Must be available to work exclusively on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, or CCNA) are a plus.
