Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain server health, network infrastructure, and system performance during off-peak hours.
- Execute routine system patching, backups, and security updates to ensure operational integrity.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported via the ticketing system, prioritizing critical alerts.
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks on software applications and hardware configurations.
- Document all technical procedures, incident logs, and handover notes for the day shift team.
- Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot escalated technical problems.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technical field.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to document complex technical processes clearly.
- Associate degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification preferred.
