Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Technical Issues: Diagnose, research, and resolve hardware and software issues for internal staff and clients via remote channels and on-site visits.
- Incident Management: Log, track, and manage IT service requests using ticketing systems (Zendesk/ServiceNow) with a focus on first-contact resolution.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine system checks, security patching, and updates during low-traffic hours to minimize disruption.
- Network Monitoring: Monitor network performance and server health to ensure 99.9% uptime and security compliance.
- User Support: Provide clear, concise technical guidance and training to end-users on software applications and hardware peripherals.
- Access Control: Assist with user provisioning and de-provisioning of accounts and system access in accordance with security protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Help Desk, Technical Support, or a similar role.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Windows 10/11, MacOS, and mobile device management (MDM).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Tools: Familiarity with remote desktop tools (TeamViewer, LogMeIn) and ticketing systems.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft 365 Certified is highly preferred.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently and escalate when necessary.
