Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport palletized goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Packing & Shipping: Verify items against packing slips, package products securely, and prepare them for local and regional distribution.
- Inventory Control: Assist in cycle counts and stock organization to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and safe by adhering to 5S standards and reporting hazards.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets company quality standards.
- Documentation: Accurately scan and log items into the warehouse management system (WMS).
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and capable of working scheduled shifts without absenteeism.
- Basic Math: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for counting, weighing, and verifying orders.
- Transportation: Must have reliable personal transportation to commute to the facility.
- Availability: Willingness to work overtime and weekends as business needs dictate.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus but not required.
