Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely and efficiently load, unload, and sort merchandise using forklifts and pallet jacks as required.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by scanning products and organizing stock areas.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damages or discrepancies and report findings immediately.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of warehouse equipment and work areas to ensure a tidy environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other associates to coordinate workflow and meet daily targets.
- Adherence to Protocols: Follow all company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and standard operating procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is preferred but not mandatory.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot errors and maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills to understand instructions and operate scanners.
