Responsibilities
- Stock Management: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping with a high degree of accuracy to minimize returns.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and perform cycle counts.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment as required.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the storage area organized, clean, and safe by adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Load & Unload: Efficiently load and unload trucks during peak weekend shifts.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and navigate various warehouse environments.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting, sorting, and logging inventory.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Training: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; on-site training may be provided.
- Flexibility: Willingness to perform various tasks as needed to support team goals.
