Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently handle incoming and outgoing shipments using standard warehouse equipment.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts and organize inventory to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick items based on orders and prepare them for shipping with proper packaging.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners (certification provided upon hire).
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to OSHA safety regulations and keep the workspace clean and organized.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all outgoing orders meet quality standards.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) consistently.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in data entry and order fulfillment.
- Reliability: Punctual with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required for this temp role.
