Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload merchandise throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure stock levels match system data.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and securing of goods.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or errors and report discrepancies immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a secure workplace environment.
- General Labor: Assist with warehouse maintenance, floor organization, and maintaining a tidy work area.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or general labor is preferred but not required for qualified applicants.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Documentation: Must possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible to work in the United States.
- Mechanical Skills: Basic understanding of how machinery operates; forklift certification is a plus but training may be provided.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
