Responsibilities
- Perform complex laboratory tests across hematology, chemistry, and microbiology departments
- Operate and maintain advanced diagnostic equipment (e.g., analyzers, microscopes)
- Ensure strict adherence to CAP and CLIA quality control protocols
- Document and report test results with precision and timeliness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for critical case analysis
- Maintain inventory and calibration of laboratory instruments
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
- ASCP or AMT certification (or eligible for certification)
- Minimum 3 years clinical laboratory experience
- Strong proficiency in LIS systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Demonstrated expertise in weekend/holiday shift management
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Current BLS certification
