Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments by checking labels, scanning barcodes, and maintaining accurate logs.
- Packing & Shipping: Properly package items for shipment, ensuring they are secure and labeled correctly for delivery.
- Stock Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to the Shift Lead.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine safety checks on machinery and report any malfunctions.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation to the Wichita facility.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in data entry and inventory counts.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
