Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight trucks efficiently using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts.
- Verify and count incoming inventory against packing lists to ensure accuracy and prevent shortages.
- Organize stock in designated warehouse zones to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all documentation is processed correctly.
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report any safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods of time.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime when needed.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory for all entry-level roles.
