Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and prepare shipments for delivery using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate stock counts and organize inventory to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
- Packaging: Properly package goods to ensure they arrive at their destination in pristine condition.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and report any issues to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of warehouse equipment as directed.
Qualifications
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required for entry-level applicants.
