Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight: Safely handle materials and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Pick and pack orders: Execute accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders to maintain high service standards.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts and ensure inventory accuracy within the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on machinery and report any malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- General Cleanliness: Maintain a tidy, organized workspace, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing storage areas.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with shift supervisors and team members to coordinate daily workflow.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation is required to commute to our Long Beach facility.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Experience: Prior warehouse or general labor experience is a plus but not mandatory; we provide on-the-job training.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting stock and processing orders.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime if needed.
